01 About us
This website is run by the Masters Athletic Federation of India – Tamil Nadu Branch (MAFI-TN), the state body for Masters athletes aged 30 and above in Tamil Nadu, affiliated to the Masters Athletics Federation of India.
02 Using the website
- Use the site lawfully and honestly. Do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to it, or to misuse other people's information.
- Information about events, dates, venues and fees is given in good faith and may change; the latest details are on the Events page.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit. Giving false details, including age or identity, can lead to your entry being cancelled.
03 Registration and payment
- Registering is an application to compete. Your entry is confirmed only after we have verified your payment; until then it is shown as pending.
- Fees are as displayed at the time you register. The jersey kit is optional and priced separately.
- Pay only to the bank account or UPI details shown on the registration page. We will never ask you to send money to a personal account or share an OTP or PIN.
- Fees are not refundable once an entry is confirmed, except where the organiser cancels a championship or we agree otherwise in writing. Entries are personal and not transferable.
04 Health, safety and conduct
- Masters athletics is physically demanding. You confirm you are medically fit to compete and you compete at your own risk and responsibility.
- You agree to follow the Laws & Rules, the Anti-Doping Policy and the instructions of officials.
- We may refuse, cancel or disqualify an entry for breach of these terms, for unsafe or abusive conduct, or for false documents.
05 Photographs and media
If you give media consent at registration, photographs and video taken at the championship may be used by the federation and its partners for records, press releases, broadcasts, social media and promotional material. You may withdraw consent for future use by writing to us.
06 Sponsors, links and content
- Sponsors and partners shown on this site support our championships; showing a sponsor is not an endorsement of any product by the athletes or officials.
- Our logos, text, photographs and design belong to the federation or its licensors. Do not copy or reuse them without permission.
- Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
07 Limits of liability
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, MAFI-TN, its officials and volunteers are not liable for loss or injury arising from your participation in a championship or from your use of this site, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
08 Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continued use means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts in Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction over any dispute.
